Only one main road in and out of this paradise where the cool cats play. The North Shore of Oahu filled with glowing skin, sun kissed surfers, fresh fruit and little to no footwear… are you feeling what I am? Let me be apart of this!
Haleiwa is the main drag of this small surf town. My days were filled with coffee stops, bikini shops, acai bowls galore, and surf boards at every corner – North Shore lives up to its hype.
If I go to heaven, this is what it should look like for me. Needing some advice on food, fashion at activites on North Shore? Here’s what I have for you!
Run to Foodline along the bike lane in the direction of Haleiwa Town. Stop at Pipeline & Crispy Grindz on the way back for a morning Acai bowl. Head into town to the local surf shop who run Shark Dives to have an encounter with a creature of fear.
Most loved beaches are Sunset, Leftovers, Kalewa Bay, or Turtle Bay – all beyond beautiful. Here you can tick off snorkeling, paddle-boarding and some surfing.
I love lunch at the The Beet Box – vegan magicness! Head to Turtle Bay for an afternoon drink before dining at Opal Thai (the most authentic Thai outside Thailand). Or you could chose one of many incredible food trucks that are scattered along the shore line.
Shops I can’t go past are 808, San Lorenzo and Guava.
The north shore is a little hub all to itself, its way of life is real. People are so pure so passionate and so grateful of the beauty that they live in. It was so refreshing and uplifting to be around. If Oahu is on the list don’t overlook a trip to the north shore, it is something else.
